Our shared good deeds in February

February is a wonderful reminder that every great act of kindness begins with people who are willing to be there for others.

Someone signs up for a monthly donation. Someone knits tiny little socks. Someone comes to a meeting after a long day at work. Someone helps organize an event or simply tells others about our foundation. It is through the combination of these countless quiet acts of kindness that meaningful support is created for premature babies and their families.

Thanks to your support, this February became a month filled with people who chose to be there every single day.

This month was made possible by an incredible number of people with warm, kind, and caring hearts:

• those who supported us with donations;
• those who signed up to become monthly supporters;
• those who knitted, sewed, and joined our meetings;
• those who helped organize our events;
• those who represented the foundation at charity fairs;
• those who shared our posts and stories;
• and those who were simply there for us.

Together, thanks to you, we were able to:

Create: 336 handmade items for babies and hospitals
Purchase: 35 skeins of yarn for new care sets
Welcome: Three new Faith Fairies — Jana, Alena, and Julia

What happened in February:

• we welcomed the International Women's Club of Riga to the Fairy House;
• we delivered 250 handmade items to BKUS;
• we brought 50 gifts for mothers to BKUS;
• we moved into our new Fairy House at Antonijas iela 9;
• we sent 94 handmade items to Jēkabpils Hospital and, for the first time, used size labels on our baby care sets;
• we held a meeting for volunteers who represent the foundation at charity fairs;
• we delivered 90 handmade items to the Riga Maternity Hospital.

Our community of monthly supporters continues to grow. This month, Jana, Alena, and Julia joined our Faith Fairies family. Our volunteer community also became even bigger with the arrival of a new knitting Fairy.
